The Dukes Essay Prize - Dukes Education.

The Robson History Prize is an annual competition for Year 12 or Lower 6th students. The Prize was established in 2007 in memory of the historian Robert Robson, who was for many years a Fellow and Tutor at Trinity. The aims of the Robson Prize are twofold: firstly, to encourage ambitious and talented Year 12 or Lower Sixth students considering.

For many years, Peterhouse has been proud to organise the Vellacott History essay competition and the Kelvin Science essay competition was set up in 1999 to try to duplicate its success. In 2008 we instituted the Thomas Campion English essay competition, kindly funded by the Friends of Peterhouse. All three prizes have the following aims.

The Lord Toulson Essay Prize in Law, in honour of the late Lord Roger Toulson, Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, is sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills. It is intended to give students a chance to engage with important legal debates and to explore the kind of issues that they would be exposed to in a Cambridge law degree.
